We’re thrilled to share an important milestone: we have officially signed a new one-year contract to continue having a multidisciplinary team inside the Honduran child protection office. This means that our lawyer, social worker, and psychologist will keep doing the focused, day-to-day work that opens the door for more children to return to their biological families.

This renewed partnership comes at a crucial moment. Honduras is heading into a full government transition after the recent elections, and with it, a complete turnover of personnel inside public offices. But while leadership and staffing may change, our team will remain a steady presence—ensuring that kids’ cases keep moving forward and that reunifications don’t get stalled. In a season of uncertainty, they will continue to be a source of consistency and hope for children and families.

After years of working shoulder-to-shoulder with the child protection office, we have seen firsthand that having an established team on the inside is the most effective way to make sure kids’ cases advance and that family-based care stays at the center of decision-making. This collaboration is not common; it’s a unique opportunity and a deep sign of trust from the Honduran government—and it’s making a tangible difference.

We are incredibly proud of this work, and deeply grateful for the generosity that makes it possible. As we look ahead to another year of impact, your support remains the reason we can stay present, stay committed, and keep families together.

Thank you for standing with us—and with the kids and families who are waiting for their chance to be reunited.
